With the recent election and the ideology that "global warming" is a "myth", now more than ever we need to address the problem. Since the announcement of the new presidency oil and coal is at an all time high (while emissions are too). UNICEF recently came out and say over 600,000 children die each year due to air pollution. With many countries coming out and saying this needs to change, such as the French Minister of Foreign Affairs saying by 2023 they and many others plan to be coal-free. With recent legislations passed in states such as California and Hawaii, mandating that 50% for Cali, and 100% from renewable energy.

Throughout this class I plan on researching and to come up with a plan that will allow the U.S. to convert 10% more of energy consumption to renewable energy, efficiently and cost effective.
